May 2023 Release Notes

New features released in Somnoware in addition to the continuous optimization of existing capabilities and performance improvements:

 Key Features:

  • NOX A1 In-lab studies with SDI AST workflow.

    • NOX A1s PSG - Start study

    • NOX A1s PSG - Upload study

    • SDI Settings to run AST studies

 Details:

NOX A1s PSG - Start study

  1. Login to webapp.
  2. Open AST scheduler.
  3. Select patient schedule to start study.
  4. Click on start study from the schedule side pane. 



  5. Click “Yes” on the start study prompt window.



  6. When you select “Yes” on the SDI guided panel the Noxturnal application will open.



  7. In Noxturnal, click “Configure Recording” for the room intended and select “Next”
  8. The patient information from the schedule should appear on the screen as below.



  9. Turn on the A1s device that is configured for the selected room and select “Start Recording”. Oximeter pairing will also happen at this point.
  10. Technicians can enter tech notes from the “Tech notes” tab in SDI guided panel.



  11. Opening “Tech notes” will open the tech observation side panel.

  12. Tech notes side panel will have 4 tabs (Study Info, Shift Notes, Assessments, Observations).
  13. Study Info will contain all patient and schedule-related information. Users can switch study types, and update patient demographic info.
  14. Shift notes – The user can enter shift summary notes and add report comments.

  15. Assessments – Users can update the patient assessments throughout the study.

  16. Observations- The user can mark events/observations throughout the study by clicking the “Add Observation” button.

   

17. Technicians can stop a study from within the Noxturnal application.

 

NOX A1s PSG - Upload study

  1. Click on the “Complete study” button from the SDI panel after stopping the study in the Noxturnal application. 



  2. The Complete study window will open with the conducted study selected in the matching acquisition list. 



  3. Technicians can verify the study type and the study selected. They can also upload the study for scoring or for Interpretation from the complete study window.
  4. If the study is scored the user has the option to select the analysis protocol and Report template based on the study type to generate clinical report/Scored report.



  5. Once the user clicks on “Proceed” a report preview window will open with the scored report for the user to validate.



  6. The report preview window displays options to generate a new report. Users can navigate back to the previous window or cancel the study upload.
  7. If the user is satisfied with the clinical report generated, click ‘Proceed’ to begin uploading the study.


  8. Once the upload is complete, a notification window will appear on the bottom right corner of the screen.

 

 SDI Settings to run AST studies

 Note: SDI should be configured to run the NOX Attended study.

  1. SDI AST settings can be configured from SDI running in taskbar hidden icon section.
         
  2. Select the AST tab in settings and click ‘Add AST Sleepware’.



  3. Facility and bed numbers can be configured in the same window.
  4. Save settings and the user can start a new study.
  5. Multiple Sleepwares can be configured in SDI AST settings and a default Sleepware can be set.
