Evaluation form for Scorers and Technologists.
We are excited to introduce the Evaluation Form feature, designed to facilitate feedback and performance assessment for Technologists and Scorers. This feature allows Physicians to rate and provide feedback on sleep studies conducted by Technologists and Scorers. Here's how it works:
- In the interpretation module, Physicians can access a form displaying the names of the Technologists and Scorers involved in a specific sleep study. Physicians can add comments about the sleep study and rate the performance using star ratings.
- Once the Physician submits the rating and feedback, the form is sent to the Lab Manager for review. Lab Manager users can find the pending forms under their My Profile section.
- Lab Managers have access to the pending forms, allowing them to review the comments and ratings provided by the Physician. They can then approve the evaluation, add their comments if desired, or discard the evaluation if necessary, moving it to the Discarded bucket.
- Upon approval by the Lab Manager, the form is moved to the Pending Review status. Technologists and Scorers can access the approved evaluations when they log in to the application.
- Technologists and Scorers can read the Physician's and Lab Manager's comments and choose to accept the evaluation or send it back for further review. Acceptance moves the evaluation to the Completed bucket, while sending it for review returns it to the Manager Review status.
- The system generates monthly reports that can be filtered based on specific Scorers and Technologists along with their respective ratings. These reports provide valuable insights for performance improvement and recognition.
Displaying the orders in Somnoware (for HL7 customers)
- This feature is specifically designed for customers who utilize the HL7 interface with their Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- With the new update, Somnoware offers the functionality to save orders received from the EMR directly into the patient's chart. These orders will be visible under the Appointments and Orders section.
- Each order will have two crucial identifiers associated with it: the External Order ID (EMR Order ID) and the Encounter ID (EMR Schedule ID). The link between the order and the respective sleep study will be established through the Encounter ID.
- Upon completing the sleep study, the results are automatically transmitted to the EMR. However, if there are any errors or discrepancies in the Order ID or Encounter ID, the results will not be successfully saved in the EMR. To address this issue, we have implemented an option to rectify and associate the correct order with the study.
- Users can easily perform this action by selecting the View Order Details option available in the Studies section. This option can be accessed from various places, including the Patient Chart, Study Manager, and Physician Study Manager.
- By choosing the appropriate order and assigning it to the corresponding study, the system will automatically resend the results to the EMR, ensuring accurate and updated records.
- We believe that this feature will significantly enhance the integration between Somnoware and customers' EMR systems, streamlining the process of managing orders and study results seamlessly.
Questionnaire list page in the facility configuration.
- Somnoware has successfully implemented the "Questionnaire List" page within the facility configuration section.
- The purpose of this page is to provide a comprehensive list of all the questionnaires that have been created and configured for that particular facility. To access this list, users can navigate to Facility Settings -> Patient Communication -> Questionnaires.
- As part of our phased approach, Phase 1 focuses on showcasing the existing questionnaires, making it easier for users to view and manage their current questionnaires effectively. In Phase 2, we will introduce exciting new features, granting users the ability to edit existing questionnaires as well as create entirely new questionnaires tailored to their specific needs.
