New features released in Somnoware in addition to the continuous optimization of existing capabilities and overall performance improvements:
Key Features:
- Initialize devices from quick checkout.
- Banner notifications in UI for system outages and user alerts.
- Option to add/remove split (for split-night studies) from the Physician Study Manager and Study Manager modules.
Details:
Initialize Devices from Quick Checkout
- Device can be initialized from the patient profile.
- While performing a checkout from the patient profile, all open appointments for the patient(s) will be listed.
- Users can select an appointment from the list to initialize and/or check out the device.
Banner Notifications in UI for System Outages and User Alerts
- Application-related messages to notify users will be displayed across the top of the screen.
- Messages are color-coded to indicate a particular notification’s category.
Green – Success Alerts
Orange – Warnings
Red – Blocker Alerts
Blue - Information
- Messages and alerts will be configured and initiated via the database.
Add/remove split (for split-night studies) from the Physician Study Manager and Study Manager modules
- Somnoware has introduced the option to add/remove split for split-night studies from both the Study Manager and Physician Study Manager modules.
- If a technologist doesn’t initiate a split-night study or if the study fails to meet split criteria, users can add or remove split by selecting the option from the meatball menu .
- If the split is removed for a split study, then the study type will show as split- night CPAP (Negative), and the diagnostic preference will be applied during report generation.
- Adding or removing the split option can be done by selecting the secondary action button (meatball menu) from the Study Manager or Physician Study Manager.
